Shift Type: Sunday-Thursday, 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct bedside swallow evaluations and follow-up assessments with confidence and independence
Perform communication evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans for a diverse patient population
Administer standardized tests in the outpatient setting to guide therapy
Treat patients with conditions such as post-concussion, CVA, TBI, and Head & Neck Cancer in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Collaborate with a dynamic rehab team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float between St. Francis, St. Clare, and St. Anthony facilities to broaden your experience

Qualifications

Active CCC-SLP certification (CCC-A not accepted)
Current BLS certification
Experience with bedside swallow evaluations and communication assessments
Proficiency in outpatient standardized test administration
COVID-19 vaccination required
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced Level 2 Trauma Center and Certified Primary Stroke Center

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in speech-language pathology with a focus on acute inpatient and outpatient care
Strong clinical judgment in dysphagia management and cognitive-communication disorders
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Adaptability to float across multiple facilities
