Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, rotating weekends (4 weekend shifts per 8 weeks)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to neuro-telemetry patients
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and EKGs
Titrate intravenous drips including Heparin, Amio, and Cardizem
Assess and manage patients with neurological conditions such as stroke, TBI, and spinal surgery
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner EMR
Participate in bedside reporting and ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum 2 years of RN experience
Neuro experience highly preferred
Level 1 Trauma experience required
Able to titrate drips (Amio, Cardizem, Insulin)
Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance
Successful completion of SIMs lab for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac and neuro assessment skills
Proficient in EKG interpretation
Experience with central line care and Foley catheter insertion
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-turnover environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Familiarity with Cerner EMR
Understanding of sterile field and infection control practices
