Location: Williston, North Dakota

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM or 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive labor and delivery care to mothers and newborns
Monitor fetal heart rates and interpret fetal strips to ensure patient safety
Titrate pitocin, insulin, and magnesium drips as ordered
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced LDRP unit
Float to Med-Surg and ER as needed to support hospital-wide patient care

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota (compact license accepted)
BLS certification required; ACLS, NRP, STABLE preferred
Minimum 2 years of L&D experience preferred
Proven ability to read and interpret fetal strips
Comfortable floating to Med-Surg and ER when needed

Knowledge & Skills

L&D nursing and postpartum care
Neonatal care and fetal monitoring
IV therapy and medication management
Fetal strip interpretation and critical thinking
Quality metrics and titrating drips
Proficient in Meditech and EFM (Traceview)
