Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with a mix of inpatient and outpatient diagnoses including ortho, neuro, wound care, and general debility
Provide skilled physical therapy interventions for fractures, sports injuries, and post-surgical cases
Collaborate with a supportive therapy team and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
Precept new staff or students as needed
Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans for optimal outcomes

Qualifications

Active Texas state license and national certification as a Physical Therapist
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Wound care experience is preferred but not required
Must not have been directly employed by CommonSpirit (including CHI/Dignity) in the past year

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical skills in orthopedics, neurology, and wound care
Ability to manage a caseload of 7 treatment hours per day across IP/OP
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Familiarity with acute rehab, skilled nursing, and outpatient modalities
