Candidate Pay Rate: $43 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, goal-directed nursing care under the supervision of registered nurses, utilizing the nursing process to ensure quality outcomes.
Assist residents with activities of daily living, promoting independence and dignity.
Monitor and document vital signs, changes in condition, and report to the nursing team.
Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver individualized care plans.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of long-term care experience
Valid Alaska Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Current BLS certification
Ability to work night shifts and 12-hour shifts
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in the use of a PC, applicable software, peripheral equipment, and clinical databases
Knowledge of nursing principles and practices in long-term care
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
