Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, includes weekends and holidays as required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide respiratory care to adult and neonatal patients in a level 2 nursery
Perform arterial blood gas draws and interpret results
Set up and manage ventilators (PB 980, Philips V60, Respironics Lumis)
Administer nebulizer treatments and assist with conscious sedation
Stand by for cardioversion and assist with intubations
Support patients on BiPAP and bubble CPAP

Qualifications

Active Washington Respiratory Therapist license required
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
RRT or CRT credential accepted
Must have strong NICU experience with 32 weeks and up
Ventilator skills and experience with bubble CPAP

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in ventilator setup and troubleshooting
Experience with PB 980, Philips V60, and Respironics Lumis
Skilled in arterial blood gas draws and analysis
Knowledge of conscious sedation protocols
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
