Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to adult and geriatric patients across multiple MS-Tele units, including cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, and more
• Float within Zone 3 facilities, adapting quickly to different unit environments and patient populations
• Monitor telemetry, titrate heparin as ordered, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care
• Mentor and support permanent staff by filling scheduling gaps as a flexible traveler

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Colorado or compact state (NLC)
• Minimum 2 years of recent MS-Tele experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Must live 60+ miles from all assigned facilities to qualify as a traveler
• Ability to float within a 60-mile radius zone (Zone 3 around Denver)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in heparin and other IV drip titration
• Experience with cardiac, neuro, ortho, and general medical-surgical patients
• Strong adaptability and flexibility for floating across units and facilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable with Just-In-Time scheduling and quick assignments
