Roles & Responsibilities

• Circulate during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures with focus and precision
• Provide safe moderate sedation care and monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures
• Operate and troubleshoot Philips and Siemens imaging equipment during cases
• Accurately document procedures and patient data using the Merge documentation system
• Follow ACLS and BLS protocols and respond effectively in emergency situations
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, techs, and unit staff to deliver excellent patient care
• Support unit flow and staffing by participating in self-scheduling and call rotations
• Maintain a patient-centered approach to care and contribute to a positive patient experience

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Experience as a Cath Lab circulating technologist; moderate sedation experience required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in cardiac catheterization procedures
• Comfortable with LHC, RHC, TAVR, TEER, EP, ECMO, Impella, ICD/PPM, peripheral procedures, and endovascular AAA exposure
• Ability to use Merge or similar documentation systems
• Willingness to participate in call schedule and flexible shift rotations

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and Cath Lab workflow
• Skilled in moderate sedation monitoring and patient safety practices
• Familiarity with Philips and Siemens imaging systems
• Proficient with Merge documentation and electronic charting
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced procedural environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in multidisciplinary settings
• Attention to sterile technique, radiation safety, and regulatory compliance
