Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope medical oncology and hematology care across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Manage chemotherapy and infusion therapies safely and compassionately
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary cancer care team to deliver patient-centered treatment plans
• Participate in a shared call schedule and coordinate handoffs for inpatient care
• Engage in teaching and mentoring opportunities with medical students, residents and APPs
• Contribute to clinical quality initiatives and the center’s high patient experience standards
• Utilize EPIC to document care, coordinate referrals and communicate with care teams
• Support and grow research and academic efforts in partnership with the medical group

Qualifications

• Experienced in medical oncology and hematology care; comfortable with both inpatient and outpatient practice
• Skilled in chemotherapy administration and infusion therapy workflows
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record
• Open to new graduates and experienced candidates
• Open to H-1B visa candidates; J-1 waiver candidates cannot be accepted
• Not accepting Locum Tenens candidates

• Medical Oncology and Hematology clinical expertise
• Chemotherapy and infusion therapy management
• Inpatient and outpatient clinical workflows
• Solid tumor and benign/malignant hematology management
• Familiarity with radiation oncology technologies and modalities (brachytherapy, Elekta Versa HD, Brainlab/Exactrac) and regionally unique therapies (Xofigo)
• Strong team collaboration and multidisciplinary coordination
• Experience working with or mentoring APPs, students and residents
• Comfort with EMR-based care, specifically EPIC
