Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive screenings, evaluations, and rehabilitative therapy for patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care following regulatory and clinical standards using evidence-based practice
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly, documenting all interventions in the electronic health record
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers regarding speech disorders and treatment plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated patient care and effective discharge planning
• Supervise and support Clinical Fellows (CFY) or student Speech-Language Pathologists as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of SLP experience (or Level II clinical experience for new graduates)
• Experience in Long-Term Care or Rehab settings required
• Active Oklahoma Speech-Language Pathology License required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA required
• New graduates welcome to apply with appropriate clinical rotations

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment and diagnostic skills using standardized tools
• Knowledge of evidence-based practice and ASHA standards
• Excellent interdisciplinary communication and documentation abilities
• Ability to supervise and mentor CFY and student clinicians
• Proficiency in electronic documentation systems
