Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (as needed)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to medical-surgical patients
Monitor vital signs, assess patient conditions, and respond to changes
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care

Qualifications

Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Minimum 1 year of recent medical-surgical nursing experience preferred
BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of medical-surgical nursing principles and practices
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients effectively
Compassionate and patient-focused approach
