Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to cardiac progressive care patients under the supervision of the Unit Director
• Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms, intervening promptly for changes in patient status
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, ensuring safety and efficacy
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on condition management, discharge planning, and health promotion
• Document all care accurately in Point Click EMR system

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in the state of Maine (or compact license eligible)
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience preferred
• Telemetry or cardiac progressive care experience a plus
• BLS and ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire
• MOAB or CPI certification preferred but not required
• Must be a team player with strong communication and multitasking skills

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Experience with electronic medical records (Point Click preferred)
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing patient needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with patients, families, and team members
