Location: Bangor, Maine

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate advanced ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
- Prepare patients for exams and ensure their comfort and understanding
- Collaborate with radiologists to review images and assist in procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and uphold confidentiality standards
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with engineering as needed
- Apply high-level disinfection techniques for endocavity probes following policy
Qualifications
- Active ARDMS certification in Abdomen (AB)
- Minimum 3 years of ultrasound technologist experience
- Must hold an active Maine state license or be willing to obtain one
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact compassionately with patients
- Experience with PACS and EPIC systems preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in ultrasound imaging techniques and equipment
- Understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology
- Ability to adapt to different clinical settings and patient populations
- Knowledge of HIPAA and patient safety standards
