Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to geriatric residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor vital signs and report changes in condition to nursing staff
Help residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning for comfort
Support residents with meals, hygiene, and personal care needs
Maintain a safe, clean, and dignified environment for all residents
Collaborate with the care team to ensure the highest quality of life

Qualifications

Active GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification in Maryland
Current CPR/BLS certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude
Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of geriatric care best practices
Skill in using patient lift equipment and transfer techniques
Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
Ability to document care accurately and efficiently
