Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Evening shift, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (flexible scheduling as needed)

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents
Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver personalized care

Qualifications

Current GNA certification in Maryland
Ability to work effectively in a team
Compassionate and patient demeanor
Strong communication skills
CPR certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of geriatric nursing principles
Skills in patient care and safety
Understanding of infection control practices
Ability to use medical equipment such as blood pressure cuffs and thermometers
Empathy and patience when working with elderly patients
