Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours guaranteed per week; weekend and holiday rotation as needed

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans to help patients restore function and improve daily living skills
Assess patient needs and progress through comprehensive evaluations and ongoing monitoring
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes across adult and pediatric populations
Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
Document patient care in accordance with regulatory and facility standards

Qualifications

At least 1 year of occupational therapy experience with both adult and pediatric populations
Active Michigan Occupational Therapy license
Current American Heart Association BLS certification
Previous travel experience is preferred
Must have a clean driving record and reliable insurable vehicle
Willingness to work at both Marshall and Battle Creek locations (17 miles apart)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong skills in patient assessment and treatment planning
Experience with pediatric and adult rehabilitation
Knowledge of occupational therapy modalities and interventions
Excellent communication and documentation abilities
