Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (flexible days)

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs, responding quickly to changes
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and update care plans
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure patient safety at all times

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
ACLS certification preferred
At least 1 year of recent med-surg or telemetry experience preferred
Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Solid understanding of medical-surgical and telemetry nursing practices
Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal abilities
Commitment to delivering patient-centered care
