Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to elderly residents in a long-term care setting
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and feeding
Monitor vital signs and report changes in condition to nursing staff
Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
Support residents' emotional and social well-being through engagement

Qualifications

Active Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland
Current CPR certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
Compassionate and patient demeanor with a passion for elder care
Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of elderly care practices and safety protocols
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift and transfer patients using proper body mechanics
Team-oriented mindset with a focus on resident-centered care
