Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, schedule may include weekends and holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to patients with mental health conditions
Administer medications and monitor patient responses
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans
Conduct thorough patient assessments and document progress accurately
Support patients in therapeutic activities and promote a safe environment
Educate patients and families about mental health and coping strategies

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma
Minimum 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience
Current BLS/BCLS certification
Experience with adolescent, adult, geriatric, and pediatric psychiatric patients preferred
Strong assessment, communication, and crisis intervention skills

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of psychiatric nursing principles and evidence-based practices
Proficient in patient assessment, medication administration, and crisis management
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
