Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours guaranteed per week, every other weekend, holidays as required

Hours per Week: 60

Roles & Responsibilities

Coordinate total nursing care for patients, ensuring high-quality outcomes
Participate in patient and family teaching to promote health and recovery
Provide leadership by collaborating with ancillary nursing and patient team personnel
Serve as backup Charge Nurse, guiding the team and maintaining standards
Float between Acute Rehab and Med Surg units within scope of practice

Qualifications

2 years of recent Med Surg and Rehab experience required
Charge RN experience required - non-negotiable
Previous travel assignment (at least 3 months) required
Active Vermont RN License or Compact license required
Active American Heart Association BLS and ACLS required
Must have own vehicle; no public transport available
Perm address must be included in traveler profile
BSN preferred

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in patient care, leadership, and team collaboration
Experienced in Med Surg, Rehab, and Charge RN roles
Comfortable with floating to different units
Skilled in Cerner EMR
Strong communication and adaptability for travel nursing
