Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week guaranteed, every other weekend, holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 60

Roles & Responsibilities

Coordinate and deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in Med Surg and Rehab units
Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and health management
Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff as a backup Charge Nurse
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Utilize Cerner EMR to document patient care accurately

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg and Rehab experience
Charge RN experience is a must
Previous travel experience of at least 3 months
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Active Vermont RN license or compact state license
BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association
Reliable transportation - own vehicle required

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Med Surg and Rehab nursing
Strong leadership and charge nurse skills
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Experienced with Cerner electronic medical records
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
