Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Variable shifts, 40 hours per week, includes on-call and floating to other departments

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform adult echocardiograms including 2D-Mode, Doppler CW & PW, color flow mapping
Conduct valvular disease, cardiomyopathy, congenital heart disease, and pericardial disease studies
Execute 2D and 3D transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs)
Utilize Canon i700 and i900 equipment for diagnostic imaging
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure accurate patient assessments
Maintain detailed documentation and operate electronic medical records (EMR) - Epic

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in an acute hospital setting
Active RDCS certification (ARDMS or CCI accepted)
Current AHA BLS certification
Competency in adult echocardiography and TEEs
Pediatric experience is a plus but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in adult echocardiography techniques
Skilled in Doppler ultrasound and transesophageal echocardiography
Experience with Canon i700 and i900 systems
Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and pathology
Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
