Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Sunday-Monday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (12.5-hour shifts)

Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in a rehabilitation setting
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans for optimal recovery
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to achieve patient goals
Educate patients and families on discharge planning and self-care
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with facility policies

Qualifications

Active RN license in New Mexico or compact state
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a rehab or med-surg setting
Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and teams
Commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based care

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients effectively
Understanding of rehab nursing principles and practices
