Shift Type: Thursday-Sunday, 5:45 AM - 2:15 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or physician
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor and record patient vital signs and condition changes
Assist with activities of daily living and patient education
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes
Document care accurately and maintain patient records

Qualifications

Current and valid LVN license in California
At least 1 year of recent LVN experience in a medical/surgical or similar setting
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to float to other units as needed

Education

Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
Knowledge of medication administration and IV therapy
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
Compassionate and patient-centered approach
