Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $26 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate patient care and assist with examinations and treatments
Prepare exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain supplies
Take vital signs, record patient histories, and update electronic medical records
Administer medications and injections as directed by providers
Perform routine lab tests, EKGs, and specimen collection
Educate patients on treatment plans and follow-up care

Qualifications

Valid Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a medical office or hospital setting
Comfortable with electronic health records and standard medical equipment
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in taking vital signs and performing clinical procedures
Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology basics
Skilled in patient intake and documentation
Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Friendly and empathetic bedside manner
