Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide advanced, patient-centered neonatal care in a high-acuity 72-bed Level III NICU
- Manage complex and critical neonatal cases including extremely low birth weight (ELBW) infants
- Operate and apply advanced respiratory and circulatory support modalities such as ECMO and high-frequency ventilation
- Lead and participate in dedicated neonatal resuscitation and transport teams
- Implement therapeutic hypothermia (whole-body cooling) protocols for HIE patients
- Collaborate closely with pediatric subspecialists, including cardiovascular surgery, to coordinate integrated care
- Integrate patient care across the pediatric ecosystem (PICU, CVICU, pediatric ER) for seamless transitions
- Contribute to a high-performing, compassionate care model focused on innovation, quality, and outcomes
Qualifications
- Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) or Nurse Practitioner with demonstrated neonatal specialization and experience
- Clinical experience in a high-acuity Level III NICU environment
- Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with ECMO, jet/oscillatory high-frequency ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide (iNO), and whole-body cooling for HIE
- Proven skills in neonatal resuscitation, neonatal transport, and ELBW infant management
- Ability to work collaboratively with neonatologists, pediatric subspecialists, surgeons, and advanced practice teams
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills in acute care settings
- U.S. work authorization required — position is not open to visa candidates

Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in neonatal critical care and NICU best practices
- Experience with Neonatal ECMO protocols and management
- Proficiency in high-frequency ventilation (jet and oscillatory modes)
- Use of inhaled nitric oxide (iNO) in neonatal pulmonary support
- Therapeutic hypothermia (whole-body cooling) for neonatal HIE
- Neonatal resuscitation techniques and leadership in resuscitation teams
- Neonatal transport procedures and coordination
- Care of extremely low birth weight (ELBW) infants and complex neonatal physiology
- Collaborative practice with pediatric subspecialists and surgical teams
