Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to residents promoting comfort and quality of life
Lead and mentor Resident Assistants with coaching and training on proper nursing techniques
Administer medications and treatments accurately while following each resident's individual plan of care
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient-centered care
Maintain safety standards and infection control protocols to protect residents and staff
Practice the Choices Philosophy of Care by treating every resident with dignity and respect

Qualifications

Active Alaska LPN licensure required
Current BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association
1 year of Long Term Care nursing experience preferred
New graduates welcome with 8-12 month preceptorship program

Education

Associate's degree in nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and clinical leadership skills
Ability to coach and educate nursing support staff
Commitment to safety and infection control practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Dedication to patient-centered care and resident dignity
