Roles & Responsibilities

Provide safe, compassionate telemetry nursing care to assigned patients
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond quickly to changes in condition
Administer medications and IV therapies per orders and hospital policy
Perform thorough patient assessments and update care plans
Collaborate with physicians, techs, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize outcomes
Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the EHR
Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment, and self-care before discharge

Qualifications

Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Telemetry experience preferred; comfort interpreting cardiac rhythms a must
Current BLS required; ACLS preferred or willingness to obtain
Strong clinical assessment skills and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
Ability to work independently on per-diem assignments and integrate with existing teams

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
Patient assessment and triage skills
Medication administration and IV therapy competency
Clear, timely clinical documentation in electronic health records
Effective communication and teamwork across disciplines
Basic familiarity with hospital policies, safety, and infection control
