Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating shifts scheduled, including night and weekend shifts
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate care using the full nursing process from assessment through evaluation
- Round with physicians and implement orders to ensure seamless patient treatment
- Collaborate with physicians, social workers, dietitians, and technicians for holistic patient care
- Supervise dialysis technicians and oversee safe, effective dialysis procedures
- Monitor patients and equipment throughout each treatment to maintain safety and comfort
- Educate patients on self-care, dietary management, medications, and vascular access maintenance
- Respond swiftly and confidently to emergencies with proper equipment and protocols
- Maintain accurate patient records and communicate care plans across the healthcare team
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Utah
- BLS certification required
- Six months of experience in a chronic dialysis facility preferred
- ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of the nursing process and dialysis procedures
- Ability to educate patients on chronic renal failure and self-care techniques
- Skilled in monitoring dialysis equipment and ensuring safe treatment environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Emergency response readiness and equipment management
