Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
Take and accurately record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Support safe patient mobility, transfers, and positioning
Provide compassionate bedside care and emotional support to patients and families
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient charts
Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility procedures
Collaborate and communicate effectively with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality care

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification in California (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check, TB screening, and any required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Reliable, punctual, and able to work 12-hour day shifts as needed

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of an approved CNA training program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamental patient care and ADL support
Vital sign measurement and basic clinical observations
Safe transfer and mobility assistance techniques
Infection control and proper hand hygiene practices
Basic charting and familiarity with electronic medical records
Teamwork, time management, and clear communication
