Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care to patients in an acute care setting
Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Support nurses and interdisciplinary team with patient care tasks and transfers
Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility charting procedures
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
Communicate respectfully with patients and families to address needs and concerns

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (state required) — active and in good standing
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Prior experience in acute care or hospital setting is a plus
Ability to pass facility-required background and health screenings
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Proven skills in patient care and activities of daily living
Comfort with taking vital signs and recognizing changes in patient condition
Basic charting and documentation skills; attention to detail
Understanding of infection control and safety best practices
Teamwork and collaboration within fast-paced clinical environments
