Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate basic nursing care and assist residents with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility while promoting dignity and independence
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
Communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, families, and the care team
Document care provided in accordance with facility policy and standards

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (active registry preferred)
Ability to work 8-hour shifts and adapt to facility scheduling
Strong communication skills and a caring bedside manner
Up-to-date immunizations and any facility-required health screenings
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and comfort measures
Experienced in assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
Vital signs measurement and documentation
Understanding of infection control and safety procedures
Teamwork, time management, and dependable attendance
