Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients with dignity and respect
Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Monitor and document patient conditions and report changes to nursing staff
Support safe patient transfers and maintain proper infection control practices
Collaborate with the care team to ensure smooth, patient-centered care transitions
Keep patient areas clean, stocked, and organized to promote comfort and safety

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Georgia or eligibility to obtain state certification
Comfortable providing direct patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment
Willingness to submit to background checks and required health screenings
Reliable, professional, and able to communicate clearly with patients and team members
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain if requested

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and infection prevention
Skill in safe patient handling and mobility assistance
Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Ability to document care accurately and follow care plans
Comfort working as part of an interdisciplinary team
