Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Assist nursing staff with treatments and patient transfers in a safe manner
Maintain clear, timely documentation in the patient record
Promote a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Communicate respectfully with residents, families, and the care team to support excellent outcomes

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification (required)
Current/state-appropriate certification or eligibility to be certified in Pennsylvania
Comfortable performing ADLs, transfers, and basic clinical tasks
Ability to pass background check and meet facility health requirements
Reliable, patient-focused attitude and effective communication skills

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and comfort with ADLs
Vital signs measurement and documentation
Basic infection prevention and safety practices
Strong teamwork, communication, and resident-centered care
Familiarity with electronic health records or charting is a plus
