Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and falls prevention
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate care updates
Support infection control and safety standards to protect patients and staff
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification required
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Demonstrated ability to provide safe, compassionate hands-on care
Willingness to complete facility-required background checks and immunizations
Ability to work 8-hour shifts and perform physical aspects of patient care

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care skills and knowledge of ADLs
Comfortable with safe lifting/transfers and mobility assistance
Good communication and teamwork skills
Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
Reliable time management and documentation habits
