Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility using safe transfer techniques
Take and record vital signs, reporting changes in condition to nursing staff promptly
Accurately document care provided and resident observations in charts or electronic records
Support a positive environment by communicating kindly with residents and families
Collaborate with the nursing team to implement care plans and promote resident dignity
Help maintain a clean, safe resident environment and follow infection control practices

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania
Completion of an approved CNA program
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check, drug screen and required health screenings
Up-to-date immunizations and TB test per facility policy
Reliable, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a skilled nursing setting

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Patient transfer and safe lifting techniques
Infection control and safe hygiene practices
Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observations
Clear, compassionate communication with residents and team members
Basic charting and documentation skills
Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
