Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist nursing staff with routine patient monitoring and reporting changes
Perform safe transfers, bathing, feeding and toileting with dignity and respect
Accurately document observations and care delivered in the patient record
Communicate clearly with teammates and family members to support coordinated care
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection-control practices

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification (required) — Pennsylvania preferred or ability to obtain
Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred or obtainable upon hire)
Comfortable working an 8-hour direct care shift and lifting/assisting patients as needed
Compassionate, reliable, and able to work well within a multi-disciplinary team
Ability to pass facility-required background checks and health screenings

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited CNA program required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care fundamentals and familiarity with ADLs (activities of daily living)
Basic vital sign measurement and observational skills
Good documentation and communication skills
Awareness of infection control and safety procedures
Team-oriented mindset and adaptability in a busy care setting
