Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, first to float

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and interpret telemetry strips to ensure patient safety
Provide compassionate care to surgical, neuro, and medical patients including those with CVA, TIA, and respiratory issues
Collaborate with charge nurses, RTs, and nurse aides in a supportive 1:5 ratio environment
Manage respiratory equipment like BiPAP, CPAP, and high flow for optimal patient outcomes
Float to nearby campuses when qualified to broaden your impact

Qualifications

Active RN license
2+ years of experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Comfort reading basic tele strips and caring for general, orthopedic surgical patients, CVA, and TIA

Education

BSN preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
MedSurg experience with diverse patient populations
Familiarity with Cerner charting system a plus
Handling respiratory therapies and equipment
