Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Days, 12-hour shifts 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 6-9 weekend shifts in a 6 week schedule, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance, must float within Zone 4 facilities

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional care to diverse adult and geriatric patients across MS-Tele, cardiac, neuro, oncology, and more
Float confidently within Zone 4 facilities to support varying unit needs including low-acuity ICU holds
Monitor and titrate drips like Heparin while maintaining 1:5-6 nurse-patient ratios based on acuity
Collaborate with charge nurses, nurse aides, and RT teams in dynamic acute care settings
Adapt to Just-In-Time assignments and contribute to holiday rotations as needed

Qualifications

Active RN license required
Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience in the last 3 years
BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications mandatory
Valid driver's license for 60-mile radius floating within Zone 4

Education

BSN preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong MS-Tele skills with preference for neuro experience
Familiarity with Alaris pumps and EPIC charting system
Ability to handle cardiac, ortho, oncology, renal, and post-surgical patients
Telemetry monitoring and drip titration proficiency
