Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate bedside care including bathing, grooming, and positioning residents to ensure their comfort
Monitor vital signs like temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and oxygen levels, reporting any changes promptly
Assist with patient mobility, lifting, ambulation, and meal support to promote independence
Collect and transport specimens while maintaining a safe, clean environment
Perform 12-lead ECGs and telemetry monitoring in this dynamic critical access hospital
Cross-train to exciting areas like Emergency, Labor & Delivery, and Surgery for ultimate versatility

Qualifications

Current full, unrestricted CNA license in Alaska - must have it ready to go
Current BLS certification
High school diploma or equivalent
1 year prior CNA experience preferred
Ready to pass unit-specific courses like POC testing

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Basic nursing care and patient lifting
Vital signs monitoring and specimen collection
Telemetry monitoring and 12-lead ECGs
Point of Care testing
Bedside care with a caring touch
