Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM with rotating weekday call 8:30 PM - 8:00 AM and weekend call Saturday 7:00 AM - Monday 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and care for post-anesthesia patients through Phase 1 and Phase 2 recovery
Assess vital signs and respond swiftly to patient needs
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure seamless transitions
Manage patient ratios of 2:1 in Phase 1 and 3:1 in Phase 2
Perform recovery duties for elective surgeries across multiple service lines
Float to PreOp and Phase 2 as needed to support the team

Qualifications

Active RN license
BLS and ACLS certifications
1-2 years of nursing experience
Acute care hospital experience required

Education

Nursing degree from accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

PACU recovery expertise preferred
Strong critical thinking in fast-paced environments
Proficiency with Meditech EMR
Adaptability to learn new skills in a dynamic new campus
Excellent teamwork and patient communication
