Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM including weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care to oncology patients making a real difference in their journey
Administer chemotherapy and manage central lines with precision and confidence
Perform blood product transfusions ensuring patient safety every step of the way
Monitor vital signs and execute CHG baths to prevent infections
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to create impactful treatment plans
Float as needed to support the hospital's mission of excellence

Qualifications

Active Texas RN license (no temp licenses accepted)
BLS certification required
At least 5 years of hands-on nursing experience
Recent oncology experience is a must
Proficient with Mediports, PICCs and central lines

Education

RN licensure with relevant oncology training

Knowledge & Skills

Oncology nursing expertise
Chemotherapy administration protocols
Central line management and lab draws
Meditech documentation system
Blood product transfusion procedures
