Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver top-notch imaging procedures like X-ray, Fluoroscopy, CT, and surgical support while prioritizing patient safety
Serve as the welcoming first point of contact for patients, ensuring their imaging needs are met with care
Maintain precise medical records and handle office duties to keep the department running smoothly
Review patient requisitions, assess conditions, and ensure technical accuracy in every exam
Train and orient new team members, fostering a collaborative environment
Organize patient care priorities, always putting critical needs first

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited school of radiology
Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
Valid Illinois Radiology license
CPR/AED and CT certifications required
Ready to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and stay active throughout your shift

Education

Graduation from an accredited or approved school of radiology

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in X-ray, Fluoroscopy, CT, and surgical imaging
Strong patient safety protocols and assessment skills
Proficiency with computer systems for documentation and charges
Attention to detail in anatomical orientation and image identification
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
