Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, 6-9 weekend shifts in a 6 week schedule

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and care for adult and geriatric patients across cardiac, neuro, oncology, and more in this dynamic float role
Titrate heparin drips and manage telemetry for 5-6 patients based on acuity
Float to various specialties including ICU low-acuity holds, PCU, and stepdown to make a real impact
Collaborate with charge nurses, nurse aides, and RT teams using EPIC charting
Provide compassionate care to post-surgical, trauma, and general medicine patients

Qualifications

Active RN license with Colorado eligibility
BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
At least 2 years of recent MS-Tele experience
Prior neuro experience preferred
Ready to submit driver's license for 60-mile radius rule

Education

BSN preferred but not required
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong telemetry monitoring and MS-Tele expertise
Heparin titration and drip management
Floating across cardiac, neuro, ortho, oncology, renal, and trauma units
EPIC charting proficiency
Adaptability to varying acuities and patient populations
