Shift Type: Tuesday-Friday, 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM and Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (40 Hour Guarantee), Every Saturday required, 1 weekday night on-call

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams with precision and care, making a real difference in patient outcomes
• Efficiently manage your workload during busy times, prioritizing patient needs and team collaboration
• Assist physicians during procedures and maintain top-notch equipment for seamless operations
• Foster positive relationships across departments while keeping the ultrasound area spotless and organized
• Respond promptly to on-call needs and jump in to support colleagues whenever possible

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in echo and vascular sonography
• Proficient in performing TTE echocardiograms, TEE, stress echoes, venous reflux exams, dopplers, ABI, pericardiocentesis, thrombin injections, and vein mapping
• Skilled at starting your own IVs
• Comfortable with MediTech EMR
• Active ARDMS certification and American Heart Association BLS required
• Travelers only - permanent address must be outside 90 miles of Batesville

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in ultrasound sonography including echo with Definity contrast and comprehensive vascular studies
• Familiarity with Philips Epiq machines and Vasculab ABI equipment
• Strong patient interaction and interdepartmental teamwork skills
• Attention to detail in exam charges, inventory management, and infection control
