Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM with flexibility for day/evening hours and call required

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in complex CVOR procedures like AVR, MVR, CABG, Bentall, and dissections to save lives
Prepare and maintain sterile operating fields with precision and care
Collaborate seamlessly with surgeons, RNs, and trauma teams in a high-volume Level I trauma OR
Utilize Meditech EMR to ensure smooth documentation and patient safety
Adapt to dynamic schedules while delivering top-tier surgical support

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years acute care hospital experience as CVOR CST
NBSTA Certification required
DORA Certification required
Open Heart experience essential
Team player with high accountability and self-direction

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Level I trauma experience preferred
Meditech experience a plus
Expertise in cardiovascular operating room procedures
Sterile technique mastery
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-stakes environments
