Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including weekends, 36 guaranteed hours

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver critical care to MICU patients, making a real difference in high-acuity situations
Manage ventilators, dialysis, central lines, and advanced ICU procedures with confidence
Collaborate with a skilled team on intubations, cardioversions, and bedside interventions
Monitor cardiac output and utilize cutting-edge equipment like Arctic Sun and NXStage
Document precisely in Meditech while adapting to patient acuity and unit needs

Qualifications

Active RN Texas license (no temp licenses accepted)
2+ years of MICU/MSICU experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
CCRN preferred for those ready to shine

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise with ICU equipment including ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, and GE Cardiac Output monitors
Proficiency in Meditech documentation system
Comfortable with central line placements, thoracentesis, dialysis caths, cardioversions, and intubations
Adaptable to floating as needed and assignments based on acuity and skills
