Shift Type: Full-time, 3x12 hour night shifts per week 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate labor and delivery care to mothers and newborns
Monitor fetal heart rates and manage high-risk situations with confidence
Assist in C-sections, inductions and emergency OB procedures
Perform newborn assessments and transitions with precision
Recover mothers post-delivery while ensuring safety and comfort
Collaborate with seasoned team members to deliver exceptional outcomes
Round on patients daily to enhance their experience and safety

Qualifications

RN license in good standing
2+ years of labor and delivery experience
BLS, NRP and Fetal Monitoring training certifications
Comfort handling OB emergencies like shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage

Education

Valid RN license
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in fetal monitoring and inductions with Pitocin and Cervidil
Proficiency in newborn assessment and transition
Skills in C-sections, vacuum/forceps deliveries and circumcisions
Familiarity with Meditech documentation and CPN central monitoring
