Special Procedures Tech - Radiology

Location: Aventura, Florida

Start Date: 11-05-2026

End Date: 02-04-2027

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Regular shift Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM with required on-call after shift from 5:30 PM - 7:00 AM and 24-hour weekend call, minimum 10 call shifts per month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform cutting-edge interventional radiology procedures to improve patient outcomes
Operate specialized IR equipment with precision and care
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in 1:1 patient ratios
Document accurately using Meditech system
Respond promptly to on-call needs ensuring 24/7 coverage

Qualifications

Certified Rad Tech certification required
Minimum 2 years of experience
Prior hands-on experience in Interventional Radiology specials
Active relevant state license

Education

Completion of accredited Radiologic Technology program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in IR procedures and equipment
Strong interventional radiology techniques
Proficiency with Meditech documentation
Ability to thrive in high-acuity 1:1 patient settings
Reliable on-call responsiveness
