Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Assist nursing staff with vital signs, bathing, dressing, and mobility
Document resident condition and care provided accurately and timely
Communicate changes in resident status to the clinical team promptly
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
Support residents emotionally and socially, promoting dignity and independence

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania
Demonstrated experience in resident care or long-term care settings preferred
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a care team
Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing high-quality care

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of resident care principles and infection control practices
Skill in safe transfer and mobility assistance techniques
Ability to accurately take and record vital signs and observations
Good time management and prioritization in a busy care setting
Compassionate bedside manner and effective communication with residents and families
